Surgical Scrub Technician

Richie Eye Clinic & LASIK Center, a leading provider of ophthalmic care in southern Minnesota, is seeking a Surgical Scrub Technician to join our dynamic team in our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Faribault, MN.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare the OR for ophthalmic surgeries (cataract, glaucoma, etc)
- Set up and maintain sterile surgical fields
- Pass instruments and assist the surgeon during procedures
- Perform instrument counts and ensure all surgical items are accounted for
- Handle delicate ophthalmic instruments with care and precision
- Help turn over ORs quickly and efficiently between cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and staff to ensure outstanding patient care
- Support infection control and quality assurance efforts
What We’re Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (or equivalent experience)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- BLS certification required
- 1+ year experience in an OR setting; ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills
