Dr. Angella (Bonde) Schaefer grew up in the country outside the small town of Nerstrand, MN with her parents and two older brothers. She graduated from Faribault High School. She attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry.

Dr. Bruce Gustafson specializes in general optometry and has earned a reputation for providing patients with leading-edge technology and expertise in contact lenses. He specializes in treating low vision and dry eyes.

​​​​​​​After earning his Bachelor of Arts from Concordia College, Moorhead, Dr. Hanson went on to pursue his Bachelor of Science and his Doctor of Optometry at Southern California College of Optometry. Dr. Hanson began seeing patients in Faribault in 1989 and purchased Dr. Roy Anderson’s practice in 1993 before joining Richie Eye Clinic in 2003.

​​​​​​​Dr. Malmanger was born and raised in Minnesota and has over 30 years of experience in eye care.  After founding Eye Care Associates of Faribault in 1990, he served patients there until joining Richie Eye Clinic in 2011.  He earned his undergraduate degree from North Dakota State University and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.  His internship in the diagnosis and treatment of visual disorders related to children was completed at the State University of New York College of Optometry and his internship in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease was completed at Pacific Eye Clinics, Portland, Oregon.
